One great way to improve your Japanese skills is by watching anime, which not only exposes you to authentic Japanese dialogue, but also provides engaging storylines and interesting characters to keep you motivated. In this article, we will introduce the one anime that we recommend for learning Japanese. Whether you are a beginner or an intermediate learner, this anime series is sure to help you improve your Japanese skills and have fun at the same time.
- Useful everyday conversation: Atashin'chi being a slice of life anime targeted towards kids, they mostly use day-to-day phrases with simple grammar, which makes it easier for beginners to pick up useful, widely used phrases early on that flattens the learning curve
- Animated manga panels with audio: The official YouTube channel features excerpts from the manga with animation. This lets you read both Japanese bubble text with Furigana, as well as help you understand what each character is doing as they are animated and you can 'see' what they're doing.
- A wide range of language levels: The greatest thing about Atashin'chi is that it is suitable for learners of all levels, from beginners to advanced learners. The dialogue is spoken at a natural pace, with clear pronunciation and minimal use of complex grammar structures. This makes it easy to understand, even for those who are just starting out with the language.
- Engaging storylines and characters: One of the key features of Atashin'chi is its ability to capture the everyday moments of family life in a relatable and humorous way. The characters are well-developed and likable, and the storylines are engaging and entertaining. This means that you will be more motivated to continue watching and learning, even when the going gets tough.

Best Psychological Romance Manga Recommendations!

The manga's main focus is on the relationship between Natsumi, and her dead sister's fiance, Tougo. Natsumi's mentality due to the aftermath of her sister's death at first was quite "unstable", and Tougo is the person who kept her from falling into trouble. The protagonist Natsumi is a well-written character and she is quite distinct from other psychological mangas. She starts the manga being mentally unstable (due to circumstances which will be explained in the manga) and gradually starts becoming stable thanks to Tougo. The interactions between the two are heartwarming, and they get to know each other's backstories and what made them what they are. The pacing of the story was so good and it didn't let me sleep until I read all 8 chapters lmao. Do keep 2 hours at hand when you read the first chapters because trust me, you might need it!

Seinen Isekai Villainess Mangas for Guys!
Please Bully Me, Miss Villainess!
MangaDex Synopsis: I, Yvonne, reincarnated into an otome game as the rich villainess. According to the game's plot, a character loathed by everyone such as myself has the main role of bullying the heroine, pushing her towards the various love interests' romantic routes. But it seems like there's something wrong with Elsa, the heroine! She's getting too close to me!
Comment: The GOAT of Yuri Villainess x Heroine mangas. I have nothing more to say. The artwork is gorgeous. The story is very well written. The characters are very distinct both in terms of appearance and behavior and the Yuri between the two is off limits! If you're looking for any villainess manga with yuri, this has to be it! Seriously, do check out at least the first episode if you haven't already as it couldn't be any better.
A Villainess? No, a Heinous Young Lady
The heroine who has been reborn with the knowledge of the game would be the fall of Rosalia, however, it does not go through according to the scenario…
“What are you?! You’re the villainess, aren’t you?”
“Villainess? You think I could play such an outrageous role? I am a genuine heinous lady.”
Comment: The villainess is a reincarnator who knows the story of the game. And the male lead of this game is also a reincarnator, or... should we call it, possessed? as our Red-headed knight male lead was possessed by someone who came from "another world", presumably Japan and he also knows this world is in a game as his sister used to play the game, and so he knows only a few key points. The male lead is quite simple and he tries to warn our villainess from the heroine's mischief. While our villainess, also knowing the story of the game, evades the heroine's shenanigans masterfully.
The Villainess Became a Commoner
MangaDex Synopsis: An ordinary office worker was killed one day with a poisonous burger given to him by his co-worker and when he wakes up, he finds himself in the body of Kisaragi Kotone, an egotistic and affluent (local bully) young lady who had just been disowned by her family. After inheriting the life of a girl who is despised by everyone around her, he makes a decision to live a normal life. However, because of Kotone's reputation, he finds that his goal will be difficult to achieve.
Comment: Yuri-ish(?) Gender bender. Kisaragi Kotone was a famous local bully who's mischief was known across town. As our male protagonist possesses the body of Kotone after dying, he finds that trying to do regular things is quite hard as Kotone has a hideous reputation. This is a story of him trying to make new life while also undo-ing all the problems Kotone has caused. Something to note, the Syosetu web novel goes a lot farther than the manga. And it seems that the manga was closed at Chapter 11 due to poor sales. But the manga is unofficially translated to Chapter 8 as of writing, so you're not going to miss a lot.
The Magical Revolution of the Reincarnated Princess and the Genius Young Lady
MangaDex Synopsis: Despite her supposed ineptitude with regular magic, Princess Anisphia defies the aristocracy's expectations by developing "magicology," a unique magical theory based on memories from her past life. One day, she witnesses the brilliant noblewoman Euphyllia unjustly stripped of her title as the kingdom's next monarch. That's when Anisphia concocts a plan to help Euphyllia regain her good name-which somehow involves them living together and researching magic! Little do these two ladies know, however, that their chance encounter will alter not only their own futures, but those of the kingdom...and the entire world!
Comment: Action Villainess manga with a bit of Yuri. Both the main characters are sassy and comedic. Though it's not a romance manga. The story is somewhat lightweight and despite it's Seinen tag, it more of acts like a Shounen. The action and the bond between the two characters are supposed to be the main focus point of the story / manga and so it'll be enjoyable.
